Chocolate Guide

Chocolate Guide

The stunning opulence and astonishing taste of Le Chocolatier’s  chocolates begins with the first stage of choosing the best quality chocolate in the world to make the ganaches for truffles and with which to dip and mold the wonderful fruits, nuts and treats that all make the Le Chocolatier label the one everyone is hoping to receive.

To explain the magic of a chocolate indulgence, let us categorize the experience this way . . . .

1. Our  Legendary Truffles

Truffles are the most luxurious and specialized form of chocolate and what every chocolate lover fantasizes about.  These gems are opulent combinations of masterfully flavored ganache (or soft centers), rolled and dipped into the highest quality chocolate couverture of the kind that will best match the flavor and texture of the filling and then decorated with a sugar crunch, dot of complimentary nut, fruit or bean, or drizzled with alternating nuances of flavors.

The quality, sweetness and richness of the chocolate are all factors in creating these small and intense masterpieces.  Le Chocolatier’s expert chefs and chocolate artisans create fresh truffles daily and are true experts in the genius of these legendary classics.

2. Our Traditional Favorites

Who doesn’t love a Peanut Butter Cup, a Chocolate Covered Marshmallow or a Pecan Turtle?  Now close your eyes and imagine one of your favorites whipped together  with the ultimate quality ingredients for a perfect balance of flavors and textures.  Who can resist?

Caramels and fudges dipped in chocolate couverture, creamy, oversized coconut patties, a caramel-cashew square or an almond-cashew square. Nut barks made of all kinds of nuts – macadamia, hazelnut, almond, pecan, cashew and crackled into milk, dark and white chocolate, then  broken into divine chunky pieces.   How about maraschino cherries in thick and creamy  fondant covered in exquisite white chocolate – or milk or dark if that’s what you prefer!

Memories are made of childhood treats and Le Chocolatier is here to help you build more sweet memories for the future.

3. Chocolate -Dipped   Biscotti, Pretzels and other Cookies

Biscotti, Pretzels, Oreos, Grahams – all perfect candidates for the ultimate dip in flowing luscious chocolate. These tasty and crunchy treats dipped in milk, dark and white chocolate take on a new dimension of flavor and distinction.  Decorated with artisan flare, a basket or platter of Chocolate dipped assorted cookies and pretzels are a sight to behold and a taste of the sublime.  Do not underestimate the power of chocolate to transform!

4.  Chocolate Dipped Australian Glace Fruit

A sophisticated and luscious treat, we often include these luxurious fruit in our baskets and platters to enhance and add variety to our incredible array of flavors. These fruits have a long shelf life as compared to fresh fruit and appeal to the mature connoisseur of fine delicacies.

Glace apricots, peaches, pineapple, pear, ginger, orange slices and orange peels.  Exquisite bursts of exotic flavors enhanced by luxurious chocolate couverture.  A genuine luxury indulgence in its truest form.   Dovetails beautifully with assorted chocolate nut barks as a healthy and classic gourmet treat.

5. Chocolate Dipped Fresh Fruit

Nothing is so refreshing and pampering as luscious strawberries, fresh pineapple, kiwis, bananas, oranges or mango dipped in luxurious chocolate!  Le Chocolatier slices, cuts and dips the finest quality market fruit in milk, dark and white chocolate, arranged artistically on a wicker platter for easy and plentiful indulging.  We think a fruit should look like a fruit – because nature got it right in the first place, with beauty and eloquence.  (Should a fruit look like a flower? Well, we think not!)

This special indulgence needs to be refrigerated and should be enjoyed within day or two.  We deliver these gorgeous platters throughout Dade and Broward counties. Shipping to points beyond require next–day shipping method only, for ultimate freshness.

Also new, a 3-D custom mold of the Griffin emblem of the new JW Marriot Marquis Hotel, a custom mold of Medusa  for The Villa by Barton G  – formerly the Versace Mansion  as well as an innumerable array of custom logos for local and national businesses.

Our promise is to work quickly, efficiently, courteously and get the job done to eloquently enhance our corporate customers’ most important  relationships.

Chocolate should be kept at room temperature in a cool, dark place. Chocolate should not be refrigerated. (Except for fresh fruit dipped in chocolate which requires refrigeration).  In this way, it will last up to six weeks.  Solid chocolate will last several months.

To extend the freshness of your chocolate for longer, you may freeze it.  Place the chocolate in a box or container. Wrap the box or container in newspaper or other paper wrapping to absorb moisture. Then seal it in a plastic bag and place it in the freezer.   Your chocolate can last this way up to six months.
